Why I Built BENZ-ALLI
The reason I started the company is to bring families together.
That’s the heart of BENZ-ALLI, and it guides everything we do. It’s easy for a family to share the same house and still feel miles apart. Out on the water, that changes. Everyone is paddling the same creek, watching the same shoreline, and figuring it out together.
That’s why BENZ-ALLI rents kayaks right here in Elkhart, Indiana. You don’t need a long trip or a big vacation to spend real time with the people you love. You need an open afternoon and a kayak waiting for you.
We’ve put together a few routes so you can pick the one that fits your family’s day:
- Christiana Creek Route: a 3-hour paddle on Christiana Creek.
- Michigan Lakes Route: a 6-hour route from the Michigan lakes past Adamsville/Simonton Lake, for families who want a full day on the water.
I believe the best trips are the ones that create memories that last a lifetime. My hope is that every family heads home from a day with us talking about what they saw, laughing about who steered into the bushes and trees, and already planning the next trip.
